# Mobile FAQ

> Frequently asked questions about the TrueCurrent mobile app.

### Do I need a separate account for mobile and desktop apps?

No. Sign in with the same method you use on desktop (email, phone, Apple, or Google) and everything is there: Positions, balances, referral status.

### Do I need a crypto wallet to sign up?

No. TrueCurrent creates and secures a self-custodial wallet for you automatically when you sign up. You just use your email, phone, or social login. No seed phrases or browser extensions required.

### Can I use desktop and mobile at the same time?

Yes. Both platforms show the same positions. A trade placed on one is reflected on the other.

### Are mobile trades different from desktop?

No. Every trade goes through the same [RFQ flow](/technical/how-rfq-works) with the same zero fees and best-price selection.

### Why did my trade not execute?

Most likely your price moved beyond your slippage tolerance. Try widening it slightly. In rare cases during extreme volatility, makers may not respond in time.

### How long do deposits take?

It depends on the speed you pick. **Instant** deposits arrive right away and include a small bridge fee (0.01%). **Slow** deposits are free and take up to 20 minutes. Deposits over a certain threshold must use Slow.

### I didn't receive my verification code

For email, check your spam folder and confirm the address is correct. For SMS, make sure you selected the right country code and have signal. You can tap **Resend code** after 60 seconds.

### I signed in, but my account looks empty

You may have signed in with a different method than the one you signed up with, which creates a separate account. Sign out and sign back in using the **same** method as when you signed in.

### Notifications aren't working

Check that notifications are enabled in both the TrueCurrent app settings and your device's system settings. On Android, disable battery optimization for TrueCurrent.
