# View and follow traders

> Explore public trader profiles, review Perpetuals and Predictions performance, and manage who you follow.

Sign in, then open a trader's public profile from the [leaderboard](/social/leaderboard) to review their performance, current activity, and trading history. Detailed profiles require sign-in, even though the leaderboard is available to guests.

## Review profile information

A profile can show the trader's display name, profile image, banner, follower and following counts, mutual connections, and a link to their X account when connected. The **Follow** or **Following** button shows whether you follow them.

Traders can have a public page using their default identity without completing [public profile setup](/social/create-profile).

### Understand mutual connections

On a trader's profile, mutual connections can show people that both you and the trader follow. On the leaderboard, they can show people you follow who also follow the trader.

When there are one to three mutual connections, TrueCurrent can show their profile images. With more than three, it shows two profile images and the number of additional mutual connections.

## Review Perpetuals performance

The **Perpetuals** portfolio view can include:

* Portfolio value and profit and loss (PnL)
* Account and PnL charts with timeframe controls
* A PnL calendar
* Win rate, drawdown, and number of trades
* Open positions and open orders
* Position and order history
* Balances

Use the available chart timeframes, table sorting, and market filters to explore the trader's results and activity.

## Review Predictions performance

The **Predictions** portfolio view can include a portfolio overview, open and closed positions, and prediction activity. Use the available viewing, sorting, and filtering controls to explore the information.

  Visiting another trader's profile gives you access to viewing controls only. You cannot close their positions, cancel their orders, withdraw their funds, or use other account-management actions.

## Follow or unfollow a trader

You must be signed in to follow or unfollow someone. You do not need to create your own public profile first.

To follow a trader, select **Follow** on their profile. The button changes to **Following** when the action is complete. If you are browsing as a guest, TrueCurrent asks you to sign in first.

To unfollow, select **Following** and confirm the change if prompted.

Following saves the trader to your following list. It does not copy their trades or execute trades for you. To find people you follow again, turn on **Following** on the [leaderboard](/social/leaderboard).

## Troubleshooting

### A trader has little or no performance information

The trader may not have trading history for the selected product or timeframe. Try another timeframe or switch between the Perpetuals and Predictions views.

### A profile link takes me to Portfolio

TrueCurrent returns you to the Portfolio page when a profile link is invalid. Check the profile name or wallet address before trying again.
